  • I’ve submitted my application, when should I hear back from the team?

    We will update you on your application in Early-Mid December.

  • How long is the WorkplaceTech Accelerator program?

    After it kicks off on March 26th, the program will run for 12 weeks, culminating in Demo Day on June 13th right before SHRM’s highly anticipated Annual Conference.

  • Is this an in-person or virtual program?

    This is a hybrid program. Our kick-off week will be in-person. Cohort members will be invited to visit us then at SHRM HQ for a few days of in-person meetings and events. The remainder of the program will be virtual aside from the SHRM24 Annual Conference and Expo and SHRM Talent Conference and Expo 2024.

  • What is the difference between the Better Workplace Challenge Cup and the WorkplaceTech Accelerator?

    The Better Workplace Challenge Cup is a three-round hybrid pitch competition to identify startups that are solving the most critical workplace challenges. Startups will pitch their solution to HR experts, business leaders, and SHRM members with a chance to win $50,000.

    The WorkplaceTech Accelerator is SHRM’s leading future-of-work accelerator program that provides capital, guidance, support, and exposure in exchange for equity. The program is 12 weeks long and concludes with a demo day.

  • Can I participate in the accelerator if I have already partaken in other accelerators?
